• Reach out to and build relationships with pre-identified Chinese companies that develop relevant technologies.
• Assess hardware solutions, including strain gauges, display screens, controllers, data upload interfaces, and related sensors/components for integration into our tools.
• Develop integration test plans (FAT/SAT) to ensure the final product's performance, reliability, and safety meet required standards.
• Gather detailed technical specifications, performance data, and feasibility information to share with our Canadian engineering team.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure the smooth implementation of integration solutions.
• Negotiate preliminary terms for technology licensing, partnerships, joint development, or acquisition.
• Manage technical risks, timelines, and delivery quality of integration projects, ensuring completion as planned.
Job Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of work experience in technology scouting —preferably in manufacturing, automation, or industrial IoT sectors.
• Familiar with mechanical/electrical control system integration and common industrial components of control system.
• Strong cross-departmental communication and collaboration skills.
• Good written and spoken English proficiency. Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation in English.
• Willingness to travel within China as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with AI systems or Firmware systems.
Basic project management knowledge and familiarity with the project lifecycle.
Understanding of relevant industry safety standards and certifications (e.g., CE, UL).
